Summary: In case it needs to be stated, I love vaccines. They have made our lives immeasurably better and help keep our communities safe. With flu season coming up and hopes being raised about a Covid-19 vaccine in the near future, this book the perfect read!
This board book is jam-packed with all sorts of information about germs (both good and bad), and how vaccines keep not only us, but others safe. The illustrations are really cute, I love the little faces on the antibodies and viruses. I’m a fan of this entire Baby Medical School series, and this is no exception! It’s so important that we teach kids how crucial vaccines are to those who can receive them, and to empower others to do their part to protect themselves and others by staying up to date with preventative measures like a yearly flue vaccine (which we just got, writing this with a sore arm!)
This book was kindly sent by Sourcebooks Kids, but all opinions are my own.
