summary

Who doesn’t love a board book about farming? Especially with farmers of color, sign me the heck up! F is for Farm is an alphabetical board book that teaches agriculture-related vocabulary, and it varies in pronunciation skills: having phrases like “H is for Hay” and “I is for Irrigation” can be helpful for readers of varying ages. I also like that it includes the concept of “Next-Gen” farmers, giving the opportunity to talk about generational agriculture and family farming histories.

But the main question I ALWAYS have for alphabet books is ‘what will be used for the letter X?’ Will it be a word that starts with X or just contains an X? You’ll have to read it and find out, but I was pleasantly surprised…If you have a tiny future farmer, you need this book!

This book was kindly sent by Familius, but all opinions and decision to review is my own.
