Today I’m celebrating the impending release of the newest journal in the young explorers series by author Mary Richards.
GIVEAWAY! In honor of the publication of Take Me Outdoors, @pubspotlight and @agnesandaubrey are giving one lucky winner their own copy! Hit up our post on Instagram to enter, and see entry details below.

Take Me Outdoors:
This journal is ready to both teach cool nature facts and hold all of the creativity the explorer is ready cram inside of it.
Filled with lots of prompts and open space for writing about outdoor adventures, this journal guides creators to use their senses when honing observation skills and is broken into five different adventures.
There is space for field notes, drawings, and imagining what otherworldly creatures are living in the nooks and crannies of gnarled tree stumps and mossy rocks.
I really like how there is scientific information to help guide adventurers throughout, giving background information on organizations like the Audubon Society, journalist Nellie Bly, and artist Georgia O’Keeffe.
If you have a budding naturalist who yearns for adventure and meticulously kept adventure logs, this is the book for them!
Mary Richards was also kind enough to create a worksheet exclusively for TTA, which you can download below!

How to Enter the Giveaway:
Enter for a chance to win by liking this post, following @thetinyactivists , @pubspotlight, and the publisher @agnesandaubrey and by commenting your favorite outdoor adventure!
North America only (U.S. and Canada) 18+ Ends Tuesday, April 27th 11:59 PM CST. Winner must be willing to provide their mailing address.
Other books in the young explorer series include “take me home”, “take me to museums”, and “take me on vacation”!
